The mechanics behind our fundraising platform

You know how you can have a number of different accounts with your regular bank, each of which serves a slightly different purpose - savings, cheque, credit, business - and how you can transfer between them? Well, CLG has three types of accounts - cardholders, participating business, and  project fundraiser - and the transfers between the intended accounts take place, at the point of sale, when using the CLG Eftpos Card.

Security

All funds associated with the CLG fundraising platform will be held in trust by Cuscal Pty Ltd, an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI) supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

Over their lifetime they have partnered with the majority of Australia's Credit Unions, as well as many ADIs, building societies, the domestic operations of foreign banks, non-bank lenders, finance companies and superannuation funds. They also enjoy one of the highest long-term ratings from Standard and Poor's for any Australian financial institution.

The card and account data is further protected under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), this being an industry standard that requires critical protective measures including secure management, policies, procedures, network architecture, and software design.

In short - your funds, card and transactional data are highly secured.
